Taylor White is chief integration and transformation officer for Vizient. He leads corporate strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the organization through optimized processes, structures and systems to improve efficiency, productivity and overall performance of the organization.
Prior to this, White led marketing, communications, corporate strategy and corporate development, focused on enabling company growth and driving an exceptional experience for our customers. He also led the successful integration of Vizient following the merger of University HealthSystem Consortium, VHA and Novation in 2015 and the acquisition of MedAssets’ SCM and Sg2 businesses in 2016.
White joined VHA in 2000 and held several leadership roles related to strategy and business development. Under his direction, the VHA SupplyNetworks™ business grew to include over 70% of VHA members with over $8 billion in total member spend. He also evolved the company’s solution management function, driving efficiency and effectiveness internally and externally.
Before VHA, White worked as a consultant for Arthur Andersen, focused on cost reduction for health system clients in the areas of clinical resource management and supply chain management. Prior to that, he served as an assistant vice president for High Plains Baptist Health System in Amarillo, Texas, leading their performance improvement efforts. White started his career with Coopers and Lybrand in Dallas.
He earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and a master's in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
