Christen Hunt, DNP, MBA, FNP-C, CPNP-AC
As Senior Vice President of clinical quality consulting at Kaufman Hall, Christen Hunt leads large clinical transformational improvement projects focused on clinical strategy, operations and quality.
As a respected industry leader and advisor to C-suite leaders for more than 25 years, Hunt has authored publications and delivered national presentations on care model design, clinical quality, patient safety and workforce trends shaping the future of the healthcare workforce. She is regularly invited to speak at industry conferences on approaches that improve outcomes.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Hunt worked at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she managed advanced practice providers in pediatric medicine, held a joint appointment with the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and maintained a clinical practice in the pediatric intensive care unit. In this role, she led professional development, onboarding and engagement efforts to strengthen competency, promote safe clinical care and support clinicians practicing at the top of their scope.
Hunt earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice and master of business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also holds a post-master's certification as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner from the University of Kentucky and dual certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
