Byron Jobe is president and chief executive officer of Vizient®, the nation’s leading healthcare performance improvement company.
He leads Vizient’s mission to help health systems and providers improve outcomes, reduce costs and strengthen long-term performance through integrated solutions in spend management, consulting, analytics and digital transformation.
Jobe brings deep expertise in healthcare strategy, operations and finance, with a strong track record of driving growth and transformation. Before becoming CEO, he served as Vizient’s chief administrative and financial officer, overseeing finance, technology, marketing, product management and corporate development. He also played a key role in expanding Vizient’s capabilities through strategic integration and acquisition.
Earlier in his career, Jobe held senior leadership roles at Healthvision, Baylor Scott & White Health and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University.
