Jonathan Wakim

Jonathan Wakim, MD, MBA, is senior director of R&D Operations at Vizient, where he works on initiatives that bridge innovation, execution and measurable impact across the organization’s data and digital portfolio. In this role, Wakim drives cross-functional alignment between research, product development and commercialization efforts to accelerate the delivery of transformative healthcare solutions. Prior to joining Vizient, Wakim worked in venture capital at Rock Health Capital and LionBird Ventures, where he invested in early-stage digital health companies spanning digital health infrastructure, provider enablement and healthcare operations. He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, and his MBA from The Wharton School.
