An agreement with Vizient offers suppliers increased efficiency, visibility and credibility. Guided by a highly credentialed contracting process, nationally awarded agreements meet the supply chain needs of more than 100,000 Vizient members. Access to such a diverse customer base is especially important for certified diverse suppliers who are looking to expand their portfolio by offering comparable products at more competitive prices.

How supplier diversity helps members

Our Supplier Diversity Program helps members attain their purchasing, healthy community and economic development goals through a comprehensive offering that includes:

• Supply contracts with certified diversity suppliers
  Our portfolio of product and service agreements offers members greater choice and drives competition on price, quality, innovation and service. This enables them to foster a supply chain that mirrors the diversity in their own workforce and patient populations.
• Data and analytics support
  Our information platform offers exclusive access to not only Tier 1 but Tier 2 diversity spend data, as well as a means to connect with national, local and community diverse suppliers. Optional enhancements enable access to economic impact reporting, data enrichment, risk monitoring and much more.
• Advisory services
  Our expert consultative team can help health systems and hospitals develop, implement and enhance their own supplier diversity program through a highly customized, long-term strategy. The engagement could encompass spend analysis, goal setting, development of best sourcing practices and solutions to meet other organizational needs.

How to engage with Vizient and our member providers

To increase visibility and awareness among Vizient providers, SBA registered small businesses and third-party certified diverse suppliers may register through our supplier diversity portal. To be considered for a Vizient supply contract award, registered suppliers should monitor Vizient’s public bid calendar and register for all applicable product or service categories.
