Molly leads the product team, development and execution of Vizient's data and digital product strategy for new markets, including: suppliers, distributers, service firms, non-governmental organizations, employers and payers. With internal and external partners, she advances and aligns Vizient&rsquo;s comprehensive product portfolio to industry needs and opportunities, Vizient's managed services as well as customer goals and objectives.
Most recently, Molly led a team focused on the strategic alignment of spend management services with health system and supplier strategies through all areas of non-labor expense across the entire healthcare supply chain. Her scope included programs focused specifically on sustainability, supply assurance, price assurance and insights/intelligence.
Through Vizient Member Networks, Molly was previously responsible for connecting more than 320 provider organizations, including system-level executives and clinical leaders in supply chain and Vizient's Large Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Supply Network (LISN), representing 20-25 of the nation's largest health systems and more than 500 acute care facilities, to share leading practices and data, and develop high-value solutions.
Molly's work in strategy and operations includes leveraging analytics and sourcing strategies to deliver an average of $27 million in recognized annual value to three healthcare organizations within the supply chain network she was responsible for. She also established the network's clinical leadership council, comprised of chief medical officers and supply chain executives, enabling collaboration of 40 physician leaders in clinical variation reduction.
In the provider sector, Molly was responsible for the clinical program development of a network of clinically integrated, enterprise-wide service line advancing full-continuum trauma/injury care across 900+ locations. Molly served as a co-investigator on a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) clinical research study in partnership with clinical research teams and launched an original cross-continuum program evaluation strategy to demonstrate a positive impact on clinical process and outcome metrics through clinical guidelines. Her efforts inspired a North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services research initiative. Molly also developed trauma outreach strategies, including an mTBI feature during Super Bowl XLVII.
As a two-time grad of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Molly minored in English, received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and later completed her Master of Healthcare Administration. She now serves on the Next Generation Committee of the Board of UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School and a member of the 100 Women initiative.

Mittal leads oversight for the industry-leading <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="/sitecore/service/notfound.aspx?item=%7b69699137-3D88-EB61-8E5D-B918F071FD0B%7d%40en" target="_blank">Novaplus&reg; Enhanced Supply program</a>, which gives Vizient members access to more than 100 million additional units of essential medications warehoused in the U.S. She leads a team that develops key strategic sourcing programs that focus on transparency, redundancy and commitment to support a resilient supply chain for essential medications, and to date, over a million doses of these critical medications have been accessed by health systems during a supply challenge.
Under Mittal&rsquo;s direction, the Vizient pharmaceutical portfolio incorporates generic injectables, branded pharmaceuticals, plasma products, pharmacy distribution and the private-label Novaplus program. She also leads strategy and oversight of the Vizient Pharmacy Aggregation Groups, including the Vizient Oncology Network. Mittal also plays a pivotal role in advocacy related to drug shortages, 340B contract pharmacies and the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="/sitecore/service/notfound.aspx?item=%7b2DBB47B0-84DF-D799-720D-46BFE55177F1%7d%40en" target="_blank">unapproved drug initiative</a>. She helped launch and is an advisory board member of the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.enddrugshortages.com/" target="_blank">End Drug Shortages Alliance</a> and chairs the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://supplychainassociation.org/about-us/about-us-hsca-committees/" target="_blank">Healthcare Supply Chain Association Pharmacy Committee</a>.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mittal led a team that ensured hospital pharmacies had access to essential medications and COVID-19 supportive care treatments to treat their patients. This included collaboration with supplier partners and 503B entities yielding creative solutions that drove production of additional inventory.
With many years of leadership experience for Vizient&rsquo;s expanding pharmacy program and contracting team, she&rsquo;s held other positions within Vizient&rsquo;s clinical solutions and sourcing teams, managing numerous programs, and contracting activities including the plasma program, contrast media and radiopharmacy distribution, and leading strategies for non-acute sector driving enhanced value for Vizient membership.
Prior to joining Vizient, Mittal served in various healthcare roles, which helped shape her unique perspective and comprehensive understanding of how her current work positively influences the healthcare industry.
Mittal holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Business Foundations certification from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Mittal was recognized among <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.jhconline.com/mittal-sutaria.html" target="_blank">Women Leaders in Supply Chain in the Journal of Healthcare Contracting in 2020</a>.

As Senior Principal, Margaret directs strategic planning, category management and consulting for the Indirect Spend team at Vizient, specifically around outsourced services and self-op programs. She is responsible for ensuring the team delivers significant value and operational improvement for these services. Margaret also has oversight of both the Food and Environmental Services Member Councils.
In October 2020, Margaret was named one of the <a href="https://www.jhconline.com/people-to-watch-in-healthcare-contracting.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Top 10 People to Watch in Healthcare Contracting</a> by The Journal of Healthcare Contracting and highlighted again in December of 2022 as one of <a href="https://www.jhconline.com/women-leaders-in-supply-chain-margaret-steele.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">10 Women Leaders in Supply Chain</a>. Prior to her role on the Medical/Surgical team, Margaret led the Accelerated Contracting Expertise team in Purchased Services. The team featured deep expertise in Food &amp; Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Clinical Equipment Maintenance, Laundry and Linen Services and Plant Operations.
Margaret previously served on the HIDA Supply Chain Collaborative Steering Committee as well as Federation of American Hospitals&rsquo; Advisory Committee. She received her Bachelor of Science from University of Texas at Dallas with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing.

Margaret Steele

Diana leads regulatory/accreditation advisory services with a team consisting of nurses, physicians, and life safety advisors. She provides education and coaching for member organizations&rsquo; compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation, including compliance assessments, education, intra survey coaching and post survey response activities including clarifications, corrections and adverse decision response.
Diana brings more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Vizient, she spent five years in quality management leadership and 10 years in acute care operational management. She&rsquo;s held multiple leadership roles, including accreditation and regulatory compliance, nursing, performance improvement, utilization review, medical staff quality, case management and clinical risk management. As a registered nurse, Diana has worked in critical care, the medical and surgical field, peri-operative and emergency care services.
Diana is a licensed registered nurse in the state of Virginia and is a certified professional in healthcare quality. She holds a master of healthcare administration from Saint Joseph&rsquo;s College in Maine and an associate degree of nursing from Southeastern Community College in Iowa.

With a health care career spanning more than 25 years, Jim has extensive experience in health care advisory services with hospitals, health systems and physician practices nationwide. The nature of his health care consulting includes hospital/physician alignment, value-based care initiatives, bundled payments, strategic planning, new service development and implementation services.
Prior to joining Vizient, Jim was a founder of TRG Health Care Solutions, a hospital/physician alignment company he led for 14 years. Previous to TRG, Reilly led the health care consulting division for GE Medical Systems. He has led more than 350 projects during his consulting career with a proven track record in physician relations, project management, communications, team building and financial analysis.
Jim is a national speaker and often presents to organizations such as American College of Cardiovascular Administrators (ACCA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Medical Group Association (AMGA), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS).Jim received a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Steven leads the Vizient Center for Pharmacy Practice Excellence (CPPE) in providing Vizient members and the health care community with clinical and industry-related insights into pharmaceuticals that support the Vizient mission to manage costs, improve quality of care and grow market performance. Steven and the CPPE team include trained pharmacists representing expertise in a wide range of clinical and operational pharmacy disciplines, including biosimilars, oncology, pediatrics, hazardous medications, drug supply, pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy and regulatory compliance. From the expanding biosimilar markets to new gene therapies and other pipeline developments, Steven and this team apply their knowledge to maintaining a pulse on clinical, market and legislative developments, and forecast trends and potential impact to the Vizient community.
Steven is an industry leader and sought-after expert in the advancement and adoption of biosimilars. As a leading authority, he has been featured in multiple publications and broadcasts and is also the author of Biosimilars and Biologics: Implementation and Monitoring in a Healthcare Setting.
Steven is also a frequent contributor and presenter in support of Vizient's advocacy and public policy initiatives, highlighting the strategic and high-value role of pharmacy in the health care setting. He has provided insights on topics including essential medications, drug shortages, white-bagging, the Unapproved Drug Initiative and 340B strategies. In addition, he represents Vizient at legislative listening sessions, FDA briefings and other policy-making and stakeholder engagement opportunities.
Prior to joining Vizient, Steven practiced for almost 10 years within the Baylor Health Care System in various settings, including ICU clinical pharmacy and ambulatory care.
Steven holds a doctorate in pharmacy from Creighton University and a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

As senior performance improvement program director, pharmacy, Jim is primarily responsible for developing and leading performance improvement collaborative programs focusing on medication safety and utilization.
Lichauer has more than 25 years of experience as a clinical pharmacy specialist and clinical pharmacy administrator in both private sector health systems and the Veterans Health Administration. His professional experience includes medication utilization, formulary management, regulatory compliance, medication safety, quality management, clinical program development and leadership.

Jim Lichauer, PharmD, BCPS, FASHP

Blending clinical leadership and informatics experience, David is responsible for driving numerous key initiatives for Vizient, including growing the Center for Advanced Analytics, leading the development of risk-adjustment methodologies and increasing the engagement of physicians and other clinicians. The Center brings together analytics from multiple clinical and operational offerings to provide insights to members across the continuum of care.
David joined the company in 2010 after serving as medical director of the emergency department at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. He also served as a physician leader for information technology upgrades, including expansion of computerized physician order entry and documentation improvements. His background includes consulting for emergency departments and physician groups to optimize informatics, quality and compliance.
David earned a doctor of medicine degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. He is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Rush Medical School in Chicago and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

David Levine, MD, FACEP

Shoshana Krilow, senior vice president of public policy and government relations, leads Vizient&rsquo;s Public Policy and Government Relations office, monitoring and advocating on federal legislative and regulatory developments of importance to Vizient and its members.
Prior to joining Vizient, Krilow served as director of health and clinical affairs for the University of California, focusing on issues related to health policy and biomedical research for the UC Health system. Krilow has also worked as a strategic advisor to health sector clients with a particular concentration on Medicare, the pharmaceutical and insurance industries, and the Affordable Care Act.
Krilow brings deep legislative expertise to Vizient having spent several years on Capitol Hill, where she worked as a health policy advisor for members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Prior to her work on Capitol Hill, Krilow worked as an analyst, investment advisor, and regional, internal wholesaler for Goldman, Sachs and Co., Smith Barney, and J.P. Morgan respectively.
Krilow received her law degree from The Ohio State University in 2007 and became a member of the Ohio State Bar later that year. She is also a graduate of the University of Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Psychology.

Dan leads the Vizient pharmacy program, which assists customer hospitals in transforming their pharmacy program into a central point of integrated care with solutions that help manage cost and improve quality outcomes for patients. Under his direction, the program supports more than half the nation&rsquo;s health systems and a robust portfolio of 12,000 contracted pharmaceutical products, providing access, choice and value across acute, specialty, non-acute, home infusion and long-term care facilities.
Dan has been an active voice on behalf of Vizient customers. He regularly updates government leaders and elected and federal officials, including the Food and Drug Administration, on issues and trends related to drug price increases, shortages and the need for more transparency across the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Dan also oversees Vizient&rsquo;s highly successful, 30-year Novaplus private label pharmacy program. Under his leadership, the program has expanded to include an Enhanced Supply program that helps ensure the availability of essential medications in the supply chain.
Under Dan&rsquo;s leadership, the Vizient pharmacy team has published important analysis of the hidden costs of drug shortages and pricing practices for existing drugs after receiving regulatory approval. His team also published a list of essential medicines, the absence of which could threaten hospitals&rsquo; ability to provide care.
With a doctor of pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Dan joined Vizient through the MedAssets integration, where he previously served as general manager of pharmacy. He has a diverse background in the pharmaceutical industry that includes experience in benefits management, retail, hospital, specialty and mail order.
Dan is a frequent industry speaker and has been interviewed and quoted in numerous publications such as NBC, CNN, Bloomberg News, Politico, Modern Healthcare, Becker&rsquo;s Hospital Review, Drug Topics, Managed Healthcare and The Center for Biosimilars. He has been recognized in the industry as a NextGeneration Pharmacist award finalist and as the 2022 Change Maker of the Year for the work he has led on ending drug shortages.
